New Book Series!

Group lead Dr Benjamin Wild has esatablished a new fashion-based book series from Manchester University Press, Fashioning Change: Culture, Enviornment, Society. The series aims to deepen our understanding of the significance of fashion by examining its far-reaching impact on our lives and our planet. It explores how fashion can affect our societal and environmental present and future through its relationship to people, politics, economies, communities and the natural world. Taking an expansive view of what constitutes Fashion Studies, we welcome authors from across disciplines who are rethinking the relationship between fashion and beliefs, behaviours, and environments. As a collection, the series will bring together a chronologically and geographically broad range of empirical, theoretical and practical research, increasing the diversity of sources and viewpoints within the study of fashion.

We welcome proposals for monographs and edited collections. Please contact b.wild@mmu.ac.uk  emma.brennan@manchester.ac.uk (at MUP) or visit https://manchesteruniversitypress.co.uk/author-hub/ to get started.
